Senior Philanthropy Officer, Cone Health

Corynn Kilar is the Senior Philanthropy Officer for Cone Health, where she leads strategic fundraising and community partnerships for the cancer care service lines. Prior to her transition to healthcare, she worked for a decade in higher education advancement. Corynn has a demonstrated track record of building meaningful relationships with alumni, industry partners and philanthropic leaders to support academic excellence, student success and innovation. She previously served as a Director of Philanthropy at the North Carolina Textile Foundation at NC State University. She has also served in development roles at Wake Forest University and the UNC School of the Arts.

Corynn holds a B.S. in mathematical economics from Wake Forest University and an MPA in public affairs from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. As a first-generation college student, she brings a passion for access, connection and mission-driven leadership to her work. Corynn's approach centers on aligning donor interests with transformative opportunities that strengthen communities and elevate institutional priorities.
